New Music: Fiona Apple ' 'Werewolf'

Fiona Apple is now just two weeks away from releasing her first album in seven years, The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do. Following the lead single, 'Every Single Night', the second track to surface is 'Werewolf', which you can stream below (via Pitchfork).

In an interview with Pitchfork, Apple explained that the song includes a sample of children screaming on a playground, which was her attempt of replicating sounds from a battle scene in a movie that was playing in the background while she was first recording the song. 'I liked it, but I couldn't use it from the movie. I spent literally the next year trying to recreate that sound. I went to San Francisco for Halloween and I was hanging out in trolleys recording people screaming. I would walk past a bunch of drunk people and be like: 'Hey, scream!''

The Idler Wheel' arrives June 19th via Epic.

The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do Tracklist:
01. Every Single Night
02. Daredevil
03. Valentine
04. Jonathan
05. Left Alone
06. Werewolf
07. Periphery
08. Regret
09. Anything We Want

Video: Coldplay feat. Rihanna ' 'Princess Of China'

Coldplay and Rihanna's Mylo Xyloto collaboration, 'Princess Of China', now has its own big-budget music video kung-fu film. RiRi plays the titular princess, decked out in futuristic oriental garb, while Coldplay's Chris Martin is the lone warrior trekking through the desert. Once he's made it to her shiro, Martin engages in samurai swordplay with the grace of crane and the speed of a lion, climaxing in a Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon-inspired battle against Princess Rihanna. Rather than end this otherwise epic piece with the reddening of steel, though, these pop star ninjas share an embrace against the setting sun, thus leaving our bloodlust once again unsatiated. Watch the video below (via PerezHilton.com).

Mylo Xyloto is out now via EMI.
