New Music: Melvins ' 'Psycho-delic Haze'

When a band has multiple releases in a year, it's noteworthy; when a band has multiple releases in a year with varying lineups, it's the Melvins. Having already released The Bulls and the Bees EP as a four-piece and the Freak Pukefull-length as Melvins Lite, a third incarnation of the band will put out the 1983 10' this fall on Amphetamine Reptile Records. As the title suggests, the four-track effort features the band's 1983 lineup: Buzz Osbourne, Dale Crover and Mike Dillard. Here's the sludgy opening track 'Pyscho-delic Haze':

The 10' and CD pressings of 1983 will be available during Melvin Lite's upcoming '51' tour, where they'll attempt to play all 50 U.S states and D.C. without a day off. Find their complete tour docket below the 1983 tracklist.
